Helen grew up in Cumbria, singing with several local choirs and at 16, she attended Chetham’s School of Music. After Chetham’s, Helen went on to study Music at the University of York in 2018. Throughout her undergraduate degree she has performed regularly with various ensembles both in and out of York, including the 24 directed by Robert Hollingworth and Kantos Chamber Choir. During the pandemic Helen took a year-long internship in Belgium at the British School of Brussels.
After moving to Cambridge, Helen has worked administrating for organisations around Cambridge which she combines with being a lay clerk at Chelmsford Cathedral. Helen is a founding member of L’Isola, a new early music consort based in Cambridge.
Outside of music, Helen enjoys cooking and eating said cooking!
